The Dutch Futures will be played next year at the most exclusive golf club in the Netherlands, The Dutch. Once again Made in Scotland will organize this Challenge Tour event. Golf Club Houtrak was the former venue with champions Scot Peter Whiteford(2007), Dutchman Taco Remkes(2008), and Belgian Nicolaas Colsaerts(2009).

“We are very proud that the Dutch will host the Dutch Futures Challenge Tour tournament”, exclaimed Niels Boysen, tournament director on behalf of Made in Scotland. “Construction of the Colin Montgomerie golf course is fully underway with completion of this international venue expected in the second half of 2010.

“The first three editions of the Dutch Futures were played at Golf Club Houtrak. We are very thankful to all her members, board and volunteers. Their constant support and endless devotion provided the needed stimulus to create one of the most populare tournaments on the Challenge Tour circuit. We are very much looking forward to next year’s event at The Dutch”, added Niels Boysen.

Due to difficulties in finding the proper date, The Dutch Futures will not be played in 2010. 2011 promisses to be an exciting tournament with Royal Bank of Scotland once again one of the partners.
